Misty believes in using the power of organization to strengthen our communities to create a more inclusive, resilient, and thriving environment for all.
Misty is excited about Project HEAL because of her strong dedication to the belief in providing access to mental health care for all, particularly the most marginalized in our communities. Throughout her life, she has witnessed firsthand the impact that mental health issues and eating disorders have had on her loved ones. Through these experiences, Misty has developed a passion for advocating and promoting mental health care for all.
Misty has over 15 years of cross-functional administrative experience with small businesses, non-profits, and in higher education. Her range of experience extends from international conferences to managing busy day-to-day operations while maintaining a human-centered approach.
Misty holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas in Communications and Tourism & Convention Administration. She is Indigenous and an enrolled member of the Hopi tribe.
Her favorite ice cream is hands down, Tillamook Mudslide.
