David believes in planning for success. He sees financial management as one of many perspectives that together create a shared vision of the future and shape the decision-making process.

David came to the non-profit world after a 15-year term as a brick-and-mortar business owner in Brooklyn, NY. His primary focus was finance and operations, but he soon grew to be the jack-of-all-trades that a small, scrappy organization demands. Through this experience, he has gained a holistic view of what it means to do good work for his team, society, and the biosphere.

David earned an MBA from Loyola University New Orleans while serving as a remote consultant for his former partners in New York.

David’s favorite ice cream flavor is Rum Raisin in all its creamy, sweet, and complex glory perched high upon a throne of wafer cake.
