Project HEAL is Partnering with Undone Beauty!
In the midst of an *unpredictable* year, we have been leaning into our partnerships with value-aligned organizations, both in the eating disorder space and across industries. We think it's safe to say that 2020 is teaching us all that we need to work together now more than ever.
It is in this spirit that we are thrilled to announce our new partnership with Undone Beauty!
As a nonprofit dedicated to breaking down barriers to eating disorder treatment, teaming up with a beauty brand may seem odd, even problematic. We get it. We were hesitant, too.
But after meeting with the Undone Beauty team, it clicked. They are also breaking down barriers in their field: undoing traditional beauty ideals; promoting self-acceptance; featuring their products on real, unretouched people of all shapes, sizes, skin tones, and ages; pricing affordably; using natural and cruelty-free ingredients; and committing early on as a brand to give back regularly and generously.
Partnerships like this are game-changing for us. They not only increase our ability to raise awareness about eating disorders and treatment equity, but they directly fund our mission and allow us to help more people.
To start, Undone Beauty will be donating 1% of all proceeds through the end of September to Project HEAL. And this is just the beginning of our collaborations together... We are excited to share more soon about what we're working on together and the lasting impact it will make in supporting our work to help marginalized people with eating disorders access treatment.
