Internship Program

The Project HEAL internship program is designed for college students and young professionals to join a small staff and large volunteer base, all incredibly passionate about providing education, support, and resources to people affected by eating disorders. Project HEAL is seeking qualified and passionate candidates for our competitive internship program with remote cohorts offered in the fall (end of August through mid-December) and  spring (mid-January through mid-May), and an in-person cohort offered in the summer (end of May through the end of August) all summer interns must be in NYC.

Project HEAL offers applicants the option to intern primarily in one of six departments with the ability to take on additional tasks in other areas of interest to that intern. The departments that we generally recruit one intern per program cycle (unless an intern is completing a 6-month internship) are:

  • Marketing and Communications (MarCom)
  • Treatment Assistance Program
  • Development
  • Communities of HEALing (COH)
  • Volunteer Services
  • Operations/Admin

While we are unable to provide our interns with funding, we are more than happy to work with our interns to help them obtain funding from their academic institution (or another related source) and/or secure college credit for their internship.
