Once you have completed and turned in your scholarship application to Project HEAL your application will be reviewed by The Project HEAL Clinical Advisory Board (CAB).

Kenneth Willis, MD

  • Dr. Willis is a board certified psychiatrist who, with the senior leaders of the hospital, founded the Eating Disorders Program at University Medical Center at Princeton and served as its first medical director.
  • Currently, Dr. Willis serves as the program’s Associate Medical Director. He received his bachelor’s degree at Harvard University, his medical degree at Dartmouth Medical School and completed his residency at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center.
  • He has over 20 years of experience treating eating disorders in both inpatient and outpatient settings. He enjoys all aspects of patient care, teaching, supervising and is greatly concerned with access to and quality of care.

Wendy Meyer Sterling, MS, RD, CSSD, CDN

  • Wendy Meyer Sterling, MS, RD, CSSD, CDN, is a Registered Dietitian and a Board Certified Specialist in Sports Dietetics. She is a New York State Certified Dietitian/Nutritionist who specializes in sports nutrition, eating disorders, and weight management. Wendy has been a nutrition consultant for the New York Jets since 2006. She is also a nutrition consultant for Pro Hoops, helping athletes achieve peak performance prior to the NBA draft.
  • She has consulted for the NY Islanders, and Hofstra University’s Women’s Lacrosse and Volleyball teams. She works closely with competitive athletes in order to enhance sports performance and gain a competitive edge.
  • Wendy provided nutrition counseling to children and adolescents in the Eating Disorders Center at Cohen Children’s Medical Center of New York, which is part of the NS-LIJ Health System from 2001-2011. There she worked as part of a multi-disciplinary team, evaluating and treating a spectrum of eating disorders and disordered eating.
  • Wendy is a co-founder and co-owner of FOODWIZE, a company that specializes in menus that are kid-friendly, nutritionally sound, and parent-approved.
  • Wendy received her B.S. in dietetics/nutritional sciences from Cornell University. She earned her Master’s Degree in Nutrition Education at Teacher’s College at Columbia University where she also completed her dietetic internship. Christina Carrad, LPC. LCAT. ATR-BC

  • Christina Carrad graduated Cum Laude from Montclair State University with a BA in Fine Arts and from New York University with a Master’s degree in Art Therapy. She is a licensed Creative Arts Therapist in NY, a Licensed Professional Counselor in NJ, and a nationally registered and board certified Art Therapist.
  • For the past fifteen years, she has treated clients with eating disorders and co-occurring disorders in partial hospital, inpatient, intensive outpatient, and outpatient treatment settings. Over the course of her seven years at an intensive psychiatric unit at Saint Clare’s Hospital in NJ, she gained invaluable experience diagnosing and treating a full range of psychiatric conditions.
  • In addition to her clinical work, Christina has designed, implemented, and run several successful treatment programs that are still flourishing today. She spent three years at Hospice, where she developed and ran several creative arts therapies bereavement programs for children, adolescents, and adults. She worked with Atlantic Health in NJ from the inception of their eating disorders program, assisting in its development and management.
