People always tell me that high school years are the best years of your life. I’m not sure if that’s really true, but I do know that the years you spend in high school are all learning years. Being a high school senior, I have learned quite a bit about friendships and life lessons. One of the most important lessons I’ve learned over the past year is to choose your friends wisely because some may not be who they seem. I’ve had friends enter my life and leave. I’ve trusted in friends too much who ended up backstabbing me. I’ve been through what any teenager may go through. However, I’ve learned from these experiences and become stronger and wiser. I’ve realized that I must surround myself around positive people and not negative (with positivity, comes happiness!). I also know who to trust and who will support me through whatever my endeavors are. High school has been such a great learning experience for me. I was able to evaluate who is bringing me down and who is helping me stand up every time I fall. I’m so thankful to have learned these life lessons and to have a great group of life long friends. I’m graduating in June with a brighter smile, a healthier complexion, a stronger mind, and such a great love for the life I have.
