About Us: We are two passionate, driven girls and students from NJ that are recovered from anorexia nervosa. We both heard of Project HEAL and wanted to start a new jersey Chapter to be apart of this amazing cause. We both saw first hand what a struggle it is for some of those struggling with an eating disorder to be able to be able to afford treatment and we wanted to do something to help. We also both know first hand the miseryof an eating disorder and we wanted to be role models and recovery speakers to give hope to those struggling that recovery is possible.   

Upcoming Events:

1. Sunday, April 7, 2013: Second Annual EveryBODY is Beautiful Fashion Show & Brunch at Knob Hill Country Club (1 Shinnecock Drive Manalapna NJ 07726) . Advanced tickets: $50 per person, $40 for students. Children 12 and under are free! Please add $5.00 for tickets purchased at the door. Event Time: 11am-2:30pm.

Goals:

To host events to raise funds for the Help to HEAL fund for an individual in need to much needed treatment for their eating disorder that they otherwise could not afford and insurance will not cover. Additionally, we serve as recovery speakers, provide eating disorder awareness, and aim to be positive role models to encourage people to love their bodies and selves as they are.

Fundraising Accomplishments:

• November 2011 - Art Show raised nearly $1900!
• March 2012 – Fashion Show & Brunch raised nearly $6000!
• September 2012- Small Benefit Dinner raised nearly $400!
