Project HEAL currently has over 40 Chapters throughout the United States (US), Canada, and Australia. These Chapters operate at the high school, college/university, and regional levels. All Chapters seek to promote the mission and values of Project HEAL, primarily focusing their efforts on raising funds for our treatment grant program. Secondary to our mission, Chapters seek to educate their local community about the dangers of eating disorders, promote healthy body image and self esteem, provide a greater understanding of what recovering from an eating disorder entails and encourage those impacted by eating disorders to believe that recovery from an eating disorder is possible.
*NOTE: As of Friday February 17th, 2017, Project HEAL will be taking a hiatus from accepting new Chapter applications, as we pilot our new support program. We will resume accepting new Chapter applications on Monday July 3rd. Between this time, we will continue to accept new volunteer applications for roles available among our active Chapters and any roles that may be available on a national level. We have created a new role for those interested in fundraising and raising awareness within their local community but are unable to start a Chapter, this is our Ambassador role which you may apply for using the separate application below. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to email Ali Hougnou, our Director of Volunteer Services at firstname.lastname@example.org.
